Data Freshness & Limitations
Data Freshness & Sync Frequency
When will I see my latest data? Analytics reports are updated regularly throughout the week:
- Monday to Friday: Data is refreshed every two hours
- Weekends: Data is refreshed once per day at noon
Depending on when your data becomes available to us, please allow up to approximately 4 hours for it to be fully processed and visible in your dashboards during the work week. If very recent activity is not yet visible, it is usually still being processed and will appear automatically after the next update completes.
To ensure accuracy and consistency, data goes through several processing steps before it becomes available in reports.
In some cases, we may run manual data updates. When this happens, you may see new or updated data sooner than the refresh schedule described above.
Historical Data Availability
How far back can I report? To balance high-speed performance with deep historical insights, we apply different retention periods based on the module:
- Analytics Dashboards: These reports provide a rolling 15-month history. This ensures that complex shipment details and performance trends load quickly and efficiently.
- Comms Center: All historical data is available without a time limit. This allows for a full audit of your performance history, including invoices, pallet pickup forecasts, and long-term delivery trends.
Data Limitations & Expectations
To help you interpret the data correctly, please keep the following in mind:
- The analytics portal reflects data as of the most recent update. Very recent changes may not yet be included.
- Metrics and counts may differ slightly from internal systems or carrier tools due to differences in update timing or metric definitions. More details of our KPIs can be found in the Glossary & Key Metrics section.
- The data is designed for analysis and trend insights, not real-time operational tracking.
- Very large date ranges or highly detailed views often take longer to load.
- If something looks unexpected, checking the selected date range and filters is a good first step.
Time Zone Standards
To ensure consistency across reports, timestamps are standardized as follows:
- Analytics dashboards: All timestamps are shown in Europe/Berlin (CET/CEST).
- Comms Center: Data is shown in UTC, except for Invoice data, which uses CET/CEST.
Note: If you are comparing these reports with systems using a different time zone, small differences in daily totals may occur.
Accuracy & Validation
We apply automated data validation checks throughout our data processing to help ensure data quality and reliability. While it’s not possible to validate every edge case, these checks help detect common issues and prevent incomplete or empty reports from being displayed.
If you notice unusual data behavior or have questions about specific metrics, please reach out to our support team. We’re happy to investigate and, where appropriate, add additional validations to improve data quality.
